CAD Drafter - General

Job Overview:

Responsibilities:

• Develop new and modify existing designs with direction from others
• Learn and address limitations of technologies and materials involved in the CAD process
• Keep up to date on all modern advancement in material and software technologies
• Pursue ongoing education in the field
• Work on a team of two to four members to achieve project goals

Qualifications:

• Must have a strong appetite for learning
• Minimum 2 year degree in related field (preferred)
• 2+ years experience utilizing CAD software
• Fluent in Autodesk CAD software
• Minimum 2 years working in a professional environment
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• An abundance of patience to see a complicated project to the end
• Ability to visualize designs in three dimensions

Salary:

• Starting at $35,000 a year
